The authors of Exploring the Experiences of Leaders of Color and Philanthropy article were intentional in creating a space where leaders of color share their nonprofit leadership and philanthropic experiences with authors that are of color and who have expertise in the nonprofit leadership field. We believe this is an important responsibility in communicating the voices of communities of color. The authors have maintained the leaders’ language for truth, respect, and integrity of the leaders’ voices.
